This vintage bowl is made from opaque jade green glass. This colour was very popular in the early to mid-20th century. It features a slightly scalloped rim and a smooth, rounded body. This style of glass is often referred to as "jadeite". The approximate dimensions are 8 1/2" in diameter and 4ins in height. Similar items were produced by companies like Jobling in the 1930s as part of their 'Oyster Shell' range. There are a few small scratches on and a tiny nick on the rim which is barely noticeable. otherwise it's in really good pre-loved vintage condition. Will display beautifully.
