2002-04 Kappa Wales Home Shirt (XL)

A shirt made by Kappa for the Wales national football team. Worn between 2002 and 2004 during a period of increased optimism and belief, the highlight being a 2-1 win at a packed Millennium Stadium against a star-studded Italy team that would go on to win the World Cup four years later. The shirt is an XL, but be wary it’s Kappa so it does fit tighter than a more conventional replica football shirt. The care label was removed from this many moons ago, however I own the blue ‘Third’ shirt from that same era, and that’s 5% Lycra! Overall, the shirt is in good condition. There are some pulls on the front of the shirt, as shown in above photographs, and a bit of thread is pulling off one of the Kappa logos on the sleeve. For a shirt that’s almost 25 years old, it’s in good nick and would take a very keen eye to spot these issues. Comes from a non-smoking & pet-free home.
