It is hand-made and hand-decorated bone china. The figurine was designed in England but manufactured in Thailand. The Capricorn sign covers birthdays from December 22 to January 19. Royal Doulton figurines are highly collectible, with some fetching significant amounts on the secondary market. Royal Doulton Capricorn figurines often depict the Sea-Goat, a mythical creature with a goat's body and fish's tail, representing the zodiac sign. On this figurine, it can be seen around her waist. The Royal Doulton Signs of the Zodiac figurines, including the Capricorn model (HN5341), were designed by the artist Neil Faulkner. The collection was launched in 2006 and the figurines were sold from that time onward.
