Vintage 1970s jumper/sweater with a bateau neckline, snug fitting, deep waist and long sleeves with turn-back cuffs. Unworn, new old stock. I got this at the same time as another jumper I'm listing which is Italian and dated 1973, this one is from the same place but has no date label, but is likely the same age. Acrylic. Excellent unworn condition. Flat, unstretched measurements: Armpit to armpit 15.5" - stretches easily up to 20" Lower edge just over 7" - stretches easily up to 14" Centre back length 23" So the full bust measurement is 31 to 40 inches, and the waist up to 28 inches. Taking the waist into account with this one, I think this jumper would fit about a UK size 6 to 8 best, or maybe a small-waisted 10 to 12. This depends on your own fit preference really. It does have a size "Small" label sewn to the shoulder seam. It has been in storage for years, so I recommend a wash before wear. Thank you for viewing!
