★ Measurements Frame Size: Approx 18.5" wide × 16" tall Visible Image Size: Approx 17.5" wide × 15" tall Glazing: Glass front panel (glass sits loose within the frame) ★ Condition Era: Late 20th century, c.1980s Condition: Good vintage condition overall. The print surface shows light age toning and scattered foxing consistent with age, most noticeable in lighter sky and ground areas. Colour remains stable with no visible fading or image loss. The print lies flat with no cockling or tears. The mount shows light handling wear and surface marks from long-term framing. The gilt frame displays expected rubbing to edges and corners with small surface marks consistent with age and domestic display. The glass is intact but sits loose within the frame and may shift slightly when handled; this does not affect display once wall mounted. The reverse retains period backing board, brown paper tape edging, original hanging string, and a printed label identifying the work, all showing honest age-related wear. Note: Easel shown in photos is not included. ★ Details & Features Limited edition landscape art print by John Tookey titled Suffolk Poppies, depicting a broad rural scene with hedgerows, wildflowers, and open fields beneath a softly worked sky. The restrained palette and observational composition are characteristic of British landscape printmaking of the late 20th century. The print is pencil signed lower right and numbered 28/250, indicating a limited production run. The layered washes and textured handling suggest reproduction from an original watercolour or mixed-media study rather than a flat graphic print. Presented in a gilt frame with a deep blue mount, consistent with British gallery and print-shop presentation of the period. The subject matter, materials, and labeling support British origin, with the landscape clearly referencing East Anglian countryside themes.
