Beautiful 3.5“ by 5.5” painting of a rainbow-colored butterfly, with red and blue flowers, on a folded art card. The name Lauren is written in Chinese characters; the art is signed on the back in pencil: Lauren, 2001. The art is matted in a white mat that highlights the texture of the paper, which has an embossed surrounding edge. The art is framed in a used black box frame; total size is 12x15 inches, 1.25 inch deep. There are minor nicks in the frame. I love the red flower spilling over the embossed edge of the paper. Very intimate painting-if you know a Lauren, this painting is for you! See the other art with the same butterfly, quite clearly from the same artist, but with the name Phyllis, 2001, in San Francisco.
