Vintage Zuni earrings from the 50's -60's. These beautifully crafted earrings have a sunface motif that is set with turquoise, mother of pearl, onyx and coral stones and set in silver. The Zuni's celebrate the sun and created this symbol to honor it. The sunface represents the continuity of their crops, stability and life. The earrings are clip on and measure 3/4" x 3/4". They test positive for silver.
The earrings are in very good vintage condition. There are no signs of wear on the stones.
Items come in a brightly colored paper bandana enclosure and gift wrapped in a box. Perfect for gift giving!
