For your consideration is this vintage Hand Wrought Aluminum Sandwich Tray with no maker's mark present. This tray is decorated with an embossecd mottled pattern all over with a lovely embossed daffodil pattern circling around the flat portion of the tray near the edge. The edge is serrated. The only mention of the embossed daffodil pattern within Newspapers online document repository is for a Lazy Susan (1952), but does not mention the manufacturer nor show any product pictures. Additionally, check collectibles books on Aluminum Collectibles, but none of the photos show an embossed daffodil pattern. Therefore, I was unable to ascertain the particular maker. The tray measures 13.4 inches in diameter x 0.5 inches high. Such a lovely serving dish for spring or Easter.Condition: Multiple abrasions observed. Item has been steam cleaned and air dried prior to photographing.
