Limited smoke-colored vinyl edition. Holy Smoke was the fourth solo studio album by English musician Peter Murphy. It was originally released on 14 April 1992 through Beggars Banquet Records. Produced by Mike Thorne, the album features contributions from Alison Limerick, Jonathan Carney, Audrey Riley and The Hundred Men, his backing band since 1988s Love Hysteria album.
Peter Murphy is an English singer best known as the lead vocalist of gothic rock band Bauhaus. Dubbed the "Godfather of Goth," his deep voice and dramatic style defined the genre. He later pursued a successful solo career.
