Vintage Pair Brass Candlesticks with Working Ejector Rods – Height 12.9cm

Matched pair of brass candlesticks with a Georgian urn style shaped body falling to a circular base with turned step design. The base of each candle has an inbuilt ejector rod. This allows for easy ejection of a candle once spent. The ejectors both work and have their original buttons. This is unusual as often the buttons are lost over time and the ejectors often seize up and cease to work. The sticks take a standard sized dinner taper candle. Condition: In good, vintage condition. Both candlesticks are stable and do not wobble. Some misshaping to the wax pans but this does not affect their functionality. Wear, marks, pitting and tarnish to brass in places.
