Pair of Hand Painted Pitchers Made in France. The pitchers feature a traditional Breton man on one pitcher and a traditional Breton woman on the other. The largerpitcher measures 7" in height. The smallerpitcher measures about 6.25" in height. They are in very good pre-owned condition without chips, cracks or crazing. The only flaws are few light scratches to the glaze of the larger pitcher which are shown in the last photo.
These pitchers were not manufactured by the Quimper factory, but closely replicate Quimper’s design.
I purchased the pitchers at an estate sale. The seller had a huge collection of Quimper pottery and these pitchers coordinated with it nicely.
