1964 French Deer Antler Pepper Grinder, depose SBM, very rare and so unique

Midcentury Modern 1964 French Deer Antler (Deer Horn) Pepper Grinder Made by SBM . Very rare so Midcentury Modern Rustic Country Look of a French Deer Antler Hand Made into a Pepper Grinder by SBM of France. SBM went out of business in the early 1970’s. This was bought in rural France. These Deer Antler Pepper Mills were never distributed in the USA, though a deer Horn Pepper Grinder with a Buck’s Head sculpted in Metal (functions as the intake hatch for pepper grain feeding) is very rustic American in theme. Dimensions are, 4” tall (4 3/8” to the top of the Deer Horn Knob at the top of the grinding arm), 2 7/8” wide at bottom, 1 3/8” wide at bottom, and weighs 7 1/2 ounces without pepper inside. Very good vintage condition for a near 60 year old antique. Age patina on the metal adds luster and I haven’t tried to polish it out since many antique collectors want the patina intact, like the slight signs of oxidation. Deer antler in great shape, looks like it will last thousands of years
