Vintage Navajo or Hopi malachite pendant. Tribal affiliation signed

According to my research, this beautifully shaped malachite pendant may possibly be either Navajo or Hopi. The rope design is used a lot in Navajo jewelry. It is signed with “crossed arrows” which means “friendship”. The crossed arrows are used quite a bit in Navajo and Hopi jewelry. I am not an expert, and am only basing my opinion on the information I found online when researching. I purchased it in Arizona about ten years ago, and had planned to add malachite and sterling beads. But, never got around to it. I didn’t polish it because some collectors don’t want pieces cleaned.
