Vintage 1940s made in occupied Japan matching colonial couple figurine set. The couple has similarly painted faces and matching green tones to dress. They have guilt detailing and similar hair color. Both are stamped with the same stamp made an occupied Japan in red on bottom.
Size: (each) 4” x 1.75” x 1.25”
Condition: Very good vintage condition with bright paint and gilt still intact. Gentleman has a baked-in parceling slip piece on back of coattail jacket. Lady has a firing crack on back of dress (non structural and paint can be seen inside crack when looking through hole on bottom into a bright light -so it was factory present).
