Junk Item [Toy Digital Camera] Vivitar Vivicam 8027 Red Early Model

This is a red "Vivitar Vivicam 8027", a popular model from the boom 15 years ago.
It was opened and used several times when it was imported 15 years ago, and has been stored since then.
Upon checking its functionality for this listing, the following issues were found, so it is being listed as a junk item.

- It may display a "lens error" when powered on.
- If it starts up normally, the lens zoom does not work.
- Other operations besides zoom are possible when it starts up normally.

At the time, this retro-looking digital camera was not available in Japan, so it was very popular.

It is an early model and does not support Japanese menus.
The rubber cap on the USB port at the bottom was deteriorated and has been removed (image 4).
It uses rechargeable batteries instead of dry cells. The rechargeable batteries are also used.
