Artisan Pendant From Fragments of English Bone China & Sea Glass, Hand-Soldered
This broken China pendant was crafted by using fragments of a vintage English Bone China plate. I bonded the sea glass and china with a lead-free, soft solder method. It is just stunning in person!
The pendant is removable and may be used with your favorite chain.
The Quartz necklace is sold separately and it’s available if you’re interested.
The soldering material is made to stay forever shiny, but can lose some of its sheen over time. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green!
I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
The solder material is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver ratio.
