Having not really seen the show and having only played some of the DS game, these LBX Hyper Function kits are really rad for a product line that never fully took off. The regular release kits were more like very simple HG kits, in that you just attach jointa to armor parts. The hyper function kits on the other hand, has you build a full inner frame, first, and then attach armor to the frame. Also, the runners are cast in such a way that you don't actually need any nippers and can just pop the pieces off the runners with your bare hands. These kits are highly recommended to give a try (if you can find them)
