In May 2018, I was arrested on suspicion of possessing and using marijuana and cocaine. The sentence handed down in October of the following year was three years in prison. It was right in the middle of publishing my autobiography, "Akuto no Uta," and preparing for new work.

To be honest, I was shocked, and I wondered why at this timing, but as a real rapper who chose this path, I had braced myself from the beginning for my fate and karma. Whether I was behind bars or whatever, it was just a matter of making the right moves as "Rapper D.O."

While incarcerated, I kept a diary every day without fail. The absurd Babylonian system, the support of my family and friends, what I thought about while facing myself—I intended to record everything I saw and felt without holding back.

My diary was published online by my friends, and I received words of encouragement and support from many DOGGZ. This book is a re-edited compilation of that blog.

I hope that all the DOGGZ will enjoy this book as a piece of art that I rolled out behind bars, and as a record of "Rapper D.O" moving on to the next stage.

This is my life, I won't give up until I die.
