This is a deadstock Levi's 501.
As the photos show, there are some slight scuffs.

The fabric used for Pre-shrunk jeans is characterized by the pure blue color, unevenness, and fuzziness of the 60s-70s.
Unlike the XX fabric of the 50s, the dyeing is shallower, and you can feel the background of the jeans changing from workwear to fashion just by looking at the fabric.

The 501s from this period have a deep color, and unlike the flat color of the 80s-90s, they tend to develop whiskers and honeycombs.

The back of the top button of the Levi's 501 is stamped with 553, so it was made in the San Benito, Texas factory in the United States. Brand new, with tags.

This is the "final American-made model" of the 501, just before the closure of the American factory.
Using denim from the White Oak factory of Cone Mills (at the time), it was sewn in the "553" San Benito factory in Texas, which is close to Mexico.
The price of American-made regular items is rising year by year, and deadstock will become even more expensive in the future. Brand new with tags is very valuable.
