Since their release 50 years ago, these albums have led countless listeners of all ages around the world to become lifelong Beatles fans. Expanded for the 2023 edition release, this collection features 75 outstanding songs from The Beatles' entire discography, from their first single "Love Me Do" to their last, "Now And Then." The 21 newly added tracks (12 on the "Red Album" and 9 on the "Blue Album") introduce The Beatles' best songs more than ever before.

In recent years, for the release of The Beatles' special edition albums including "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (2017), "The Beatles ("White Album")" (2018), "Abbey Road" (2019), "Let It Be" (2021), and "Revolver" (2022), several songs included in "The Beatles 1967-1970" and several songs included in "The Beatles 1962-1966" were newly mixed in stereo and Dolby Atmos, and new stereo mixes were also done for "The Beatles 1" (2015). Giles Martin and Sam Okell newly mixed all other songs not included in these releases in stereo and/or Dolby Atmos at Abbey Road Studios, with the help of WingNut Films' audio demixing technology (Dolby Atmos is digital only). Both collections include a newly written essay by journalist and author John Harris.
