Cantate's previous jeans were named Denim Tapered Trousers. The name was intended for elegant wear, paired with jackets and leather shoes.

However, these jeans have a silhouette designed to be worn with a just-right fit, making them suitable for casual items, staying true to the basics. With a moderate width and a good fit around the thighs and hips, they exude elegance.

The most important thing about jeans is the material, and this time it's indigo-dyed denim. The warp threads are made of natural uneven 7-count American cotton yarn, dyed with Honai Kase-zome (rope dyeing), and the weft threads are made of 6-count yarn, woven to create a strong uneven texture. The Kase-zome is dyed using the Awa Shoai dyeing method of Tokushima (Tokushima Prefectural Intangible Cultural Property Designation No. 194). This denim thoroughly analyzes and reproduces the denim made in the 1950s, with Cantate's unique interpretation.

There are also changes in the details. The chain stitch on the back is chic black. The belt loops are fuller than before. The loop position has also been changed from offset to center alignment. The hidden rivets are flat, and the selvedge on the edge of the fabric uses Kase-zome dyed yarn.
