This lightweight bag carries like a suitcase and is carried like a backpack.
Easy to organize, it has enough capacity for a few days of travel. The name comes from a vintage bag designed to fit under the seats of Pullman train cars. It uses lightweight 500D Cordura nylon woven like the iconic Tin Cloth, and 1000D Cordura woven like the well-regarded Rugged Twill. Both of these abrasion-resistant materials are dry-waxed, providing the legendary water resistance of traditional waxed cotton.
The main compartment opens clamshell-style for easy access and visibility. When opened, a full-size zippered panel separates and organizes clothing and gear. The adjustable shoulder straps are removable, preventing snags in airline overhead compartments or checked baggage. The back panel is padded, and the shoulder straps are contoured for a backpack-style carry, making long walks through airport concourses a breeze. This versatile bag offers the convenience of a suitcase while minimizing storage space during travel.
