THE BACILLUS BRAINS (Japanese Encephalitis), who disbanded with the release of their last album. The masterpiece mini-album "HONG KONG CAFE," which drove a major wedge into Japanese rock history, is re-released with additional tracks.
Japanese Encephalitis was formed with the concept of hardcore all-star members from EXCLAIM, CHARM, and SLIGHT SLAPPERS playing Japanese rock. Their activities were not limited to the underground, and they even made their major debut, once again blowing the real rock wind into Japan. Among the works they left behind, the popular mini-album "HONG KONG CAFE" is being reissued this time. In addition to the CD, the first release in analog format is also a welcome addition. The split work with BREAKfAST, which was released as a 7-inch from KAKUBARHYTHM in 2003 and immediately sold out, and then released on CD from Stiffeen Records the following year, is included as additional tracks.
