A charming vintage ceramic/porcelain figurine depicting two dogs seated atop a barrel. The larger dog sits behind the smaller one, both looking forward with attentive expressions. The dogs have black and white spotted coats, black ears and eye patches, and are adorned with gold-colored collars and chain detailing. The barrel they rest on is a deep red with black stripes. The figurine is mounted on a rectangular base with a light greyish glaze. A handwritten label on the back of the base reads "Staffordshire" and possibly "Boots" with a price. This piece adds a touch of rustic charm to any collection.
Took many pics and happy to take more. The estate this came from was well known for very old, genuine high end antiques. The stickers on the back are from the previous owner and I chose not to remove them. No visible flaws we can find - please see photo's.
