▪️40s T&C Vintage Wool Flannel Shirt with Gussets, Boxy, Red, Separate Tag

From the details and design, it's likely from the 1940s.

Length (from collar): 74cm
Shoulder width (from shoulder seam to seam): 44cm
Width (measured at armpits): 57cm
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 57cm
Sleeve length (from center of neck to cuff): 80cm

I (165cm/53kg, slim build) could wear it with a good fit, and the sleeves reached my fingers.

Recommended for people around ~170cm, depending on preference and how you wear it!!!

【Condition】
Small moth holes are scattered throughout; the most noticeable spot is on the left hem in image ① (② is an enlargement), so please refer to it.

There aren't any other areas with this many holes.

Aside from a somewhat larger one on the left sleeve as indicated by the arrow, they are barely noticeable unless you look closely.

The cuffs, which are prone to damage, are in good condition.

The lining of the collar is damaged, and the area in the image is the worst. (The placket is fine.)

There is no feeling of the fabric thinning due to wear or moth holes.

As shown in the image, the second button from the bottom is slightly chipped, but it has an interesting shell button-like appearance.

There are no problems with its use.

A shirt from TOWN&COUNTRY, a derivative brand of Towncraft.

The long box silhouette and the flared collar shape are from the 1940s.

It combines details from the 1950s, such as the separate quality label.

A hybrid balance!

The rare and cute check pattern further enhances its rarity.

The black rayon patches add a chic atmosphere ◎

Also, the gussets are made of the same rayon; you rarely see this detail ◎◎

The buttons are cat's eye marble buttons made of celluloid (bakelite?), which is perfect.
