This is a vintage black cat plushie with an adorable "Yankee" pose. The body is made of velvet, and the tail is made of mohair.
There are several sizes of black cats in this pose, and this one is the second largest, making it more expensive. Perhaps this is because it's difficult to make the smaller ones.
Considering its age, it has no fading and minimal hair loss, so the condition is good.
The seller mentioned at the time of purchase that the manufacturer was either Steiff or Hermann.
I still have some attachment to it, but I'm decluttering, so I'm putting it up for sale. I'll pass it on to someone who likes it.
