I'm selling a truly rare vintage rescue from Sustainable Comeups. This is a genuine 1950s-era Christian Dior (Paris/New York label) women's wool coat.
The History:
This is likely a WWII/Post-War "Sweetheart Coat." It features an authentic vintage felt patch from the 332nd Fighter Group (Tuskegee Airmen). It was likely worn by a wife or partner to honor a pilot in the legendary Red Tails squadron.

*Size: Tag says "12" but this is 1950s sizing. It fits like a modern Women's M (approx. 38" bust).10" pit to put. 53"L
*Material: Heavy Navy Blue Wool with silk/satin "CD" monogram lining.
*Condition: Selling as a "Project Piece." It has some surface wear to the wool texture (grazing) and the front pocket flap needs to be stitched back up (it folds down).
