========================================
Yuichi Yokoyama, widely known for his illustrations in magazines and books as well as his unique style as a manga artist. He is one of the few artists recognized in both the manga and art worlds. His popularity has been growing overseas, especially in France, in recent years. This is the first artist book to focus on his painting works. This book features a full-color collection of his treasured Yokoyama world.

Yuichi Yokoyama
Born in Miyazaki Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting. Although he was born in Miyazaki Prefecture, he moved around various parts of Japan during his childhood due to his father's work. While searching for his own style of painting by painting landscapes and figures on plywood with paint, he started publishing manga in 2000, believing that "time can be expressed." Through his illustration work, he made his debut in 2004 with "New Civil Engineering." Yokoyama's manga, known as "Neo Manga," has no clear story development, and depicts the movement and transformation of mysterious objects, as well as non-friendly and purposeless actions by multiple characters, thereby expressing the pure flow of time. His unique works have been highly acclaimed in various fields. He is currently active as a contemporary artist.
His works include "Travel," "NIWA," "Baby Boom," "Between the World Maps" (all East Press), "Outdoor" (Kodansha), "Room" (Harmonica Books), and the art collection "Yuichi Yokoyama Color Painting Collection" (Blue Mark). His works have been translated and published in the West.
