A very rare humidor from California Art Tile Company in Richmond CA known for their tiles from 1922 - 1956. This humidor is missing it's lid but makes a nice utensil crock, vase or display piece. It is a wonderful piece that depicts the Mission era in the California region. This appears to be the Santa Barbara mission flanked by tall drooping trees on one side and a Vaquero (Mexican cowboy) on the other. Done in relief in a matte finish with earth color blends of brown and green, very natural looking. Unsigned.
Condition - A couple small chips along the bottom edge. Small bubbles, kiln grit, straw or tool marks from the manufacture of the item.
