Vintage octagonal glass ink blotter or desk paperweight measuring approximately 3.5 inches in diameter. Features a clear faceted glass top set into a decorative metal base with original cork backing underneath. Traditionally used for blotting fountain pen ink and also works beautifully as a small trinket holder or vanity accent. Unmarked. In vintage condition with visible age related wear and patina to the metal, oxidation inside the base, and light surface wear to glass consistent with age. No cracks to the glass. A great antique desk accessory or collectible writing accessory piece.
